Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch deep dish pie crust
  • ¼ teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Warm the diced ham in a skillet over medium heat for approximately 3 to 5 minutes to eliminate excess moisture, then remove from heat. In a large bowl, blend the ham, cream cheese, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined. Evenly spread the ham mixture across the bottom of the pie crust, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped green onion over the top. In a separate bowl, vigorously whisk together the eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream until smooth, then pour the egg mixture over the ham filling. Bake the quiche for 60 minutes, or until fully set and golden on top.

Notes

This quiche can be assembled in advance and frozen prior to baking. When ready to bake, thaw completely and follow the standard baking instructions. If freezing after baking, thaw the quiche and cover with aluminum foil before reheating in a 350ºF oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
